At a time when we so desperately need women heroines powered by the love and life force of Catherine, it is so sad to hear of her passing. But at the splendid age of 96 it was her time. Her gift to the world goes well beyond the immense courage and generosity she shared. Her gift was to remind us all of the unwavering beauty of humanity, when driven by courage and a singular belief that one woman can indeed make a difference. She was a giant. Such a gentle, softly spoken giant.
