Dr Hamlin and her husband were an inspiration to me for the type of practical, selfless good works that we should always be aiming for. I know that Dr Hamlin is now in the loving embrace of her heavenly father and reunited with her husband and I wouldn’t deny her that for a moment. In the strange times we are now experiencing, I can’t help but think we have lost a great ambassador for compassion and practical solutions. I can only hope that we can keep Dr Hamlin and the amazing life she led at the forefront of our minds as we work through unprecedented global circumstances.
