I first met Catherine and Reginald in 1992. They were so kind and welcoming. Catherine took me in hand and introduced me to vaginal surgery, and it’s her skills, her prowess and her humanity that helped guide me to be what I am today.

She supported us all as juniors and helped us develop our skills for the future. Most of my mesh complication surgical techniques had their inception with Catherine.

Her work was great but her legacy even greater. I will miss her hugely but she is in a better place now.
