It was a privilege to know Catherine and also to experience her work in Ethiopia first hand. What a legacy she leaves behind ! Gentle and unassuming, she travelled the world to proclaim the needs of her fistula patients and to raise funds to enable her pioneering work to continue and expand. And this work will continue because of Catherine’s vision, until obstetric fistulas are history.
