As an almost doctor, Dr. Hamlin’s life story has truly impacted me. I hope to one day be able to emulate her dedication, not only to women, but to those women whom society has forgotten. She lived her life as a true example of self sacrifice and dedication to others and was a source of light and comfort in a world which is often so dark. May her memory live on and be a call to arms to all those who wish to help others, regardless of the sacrifice they must give of themselves.
