I am filled with shock to read about Catherine’s passing! She lived and died for what she strongly believed in and dedicated her life to. I pray that the legacy which Catherine and her husband, Greg, left behind will grow from strength to strength, and most importantly that the people of Ethiopia will own the strong desire to rid their nation of this man-made disaster of the harmful culture of child marriage and childhood pregnancy. Prevention is ultimately the way to eradicate obstetric fistula.
May Catherine’s gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
