I have long been inspired by the work of the Hamlins (first seeing a TV documentary decades ago), and since Reg’s passing, Catherine has been marvellous in the way she has Kept On Keeping On.
I regret she didn’t get the Nobel Prize – the very elderly should be prioritised for such things, but she was always too humble to care about honours – although it may have helped raise much needed funding.
