How fortunate we were to have had Catherine so long in this world. Her capacity for charity, good heart and capacity for hard work changed the lives of so many disadvantaged women.

She will be remembered by all who knew and supported her as a most compassionate, inspirational and exemplary woman.

Rest in Peace dear Doctor Hamlin. I took my teenage daughters to hear you speak in one of your rare trips to Sydney many years ago. We were all so deeply moved by your courage, bravery and kindness over a lifetime serving the most needy women in the world. We thank God for your life and your work and your lived example of what following Christ can look like in practice. They have often been our inspiration to do what we can to make the world a better place. Our heroine. Our loss – heaven’s gain. We hope you enjoy your new heavenly address.
